Minutes for February 19, 2002

Kristi Logan called the meeting to order at 6:40 p.m.

Roll was called.

Bill Covey moved to accept last week’s minutes pending corrections.  Tammy Westenfeld seconded.  Motion passed.

Treasurer’s Reports (Bill Covey)

We have $3118.23 in General and $1239.32 in Service.

1st VP Report (Kelli-Beth Conway)

Thanks to those who worked at the blood drive.

Bingo should only have 4 people signed up.  People who have not been yet have preference.

Husky Midnight Marathon went well.  We met Robby Burke, his parents, and his sister.

Ring sales start soon.  Sign ups are in the book.

Stafford Springs is this Friday night.  Sign ups are in the book.  You do not have to drive.

Brothers of the week are Bill, Tarra, and Kim.  Thanks for helping Jess! 

There will be a page in the book for the leukemia triathlon.  If you have signed up, it is mandatory.  It is not too late to sign up.

We handed in the application for a new office in the Student Union.

Please be in the office during assigned hours, they will be checking and interviewing.

Please clean up after yourself after the Tuesday night meetings.  Another group comes in at 9 p.m.

Fraternal Committees:

Fellowship (Jess Mikes)

This Saturday we are having a fellowship event.  Meet at Jonathan’s for dinner at 6p.m. or meet in room 217 of the Student Union at 7 p.m.  We have the room until 12.  You can bring friends, games, etc. 

Conclave (Jess Mikes)

There is a very important meeting this Sunday, 2/24.  Meet in the office at 5:30.

Fundraising (Jen Chatfield)

New idea: ice cream delivery late at night. 

Please sign up for concessions, we make over $100. 

Old Business

Kelli moved to amend a motion she made last week to donate $500 for Kerry for the San Francisco Marathon for Leukemia.

She wanted to amend it to $499.99.  Jess seconded.  Kerry needs the money by March 1st.

Motion passed.

Kelli-Beth went over the service book for next week.

New Business

Lexie moved to accept two hours of service for Rachelle Theroux.  Tammy seconded.  Rachelle volunteered at the blood drive before pledging started.  Motion passed.

Lindsay put Ring Sale sign ups in the book.  They are the first week of March.
